"Walking Family #2"

(date and artist unknown)

DESCRIPTION: 5-foot high by 6-foot wide stencil-cut metal sculpture

This sculpture was originally untitled. It is an identical version of the City of Upland's "Walking Family" sculpture at Central Avenue and Pacific Electric Bike Trail. This piece serves as an entrance marker for the residential development Foothill Walk. It is part of a series of 10 black-coated stencil-cut images installed at approximately the same time throughout the city of Upland, some of which serve more as pseudo-signage for commercial businesses than as public art, such as the coffee cup, hammer, tractor, and mortar and pestle sculptures.
LOCATION: entrance to Foothill Walk, London Avenue and Foothill Boulevard, Upland, California, USA
