Arcadia Bandini de Stearns Baker (1827-1912) was an early California landowner, socialite and benefactor in Los Angeles and as "the great benefactress of Santa Monica." At the time of her death she was one of the wealthiest women in the United States. Sanae's bronze bust depicts her in a traditional Spanish headdress. The bust was dedicated October 18, 1987.
