Totem Pole (circa 1925) by Chilkat Thlinger Native Americans

DESCRIPTION: approx. 20-foot high Native American painted carved wood totem pole
This totem pole is a cultural landmark that was donated to the City of Santa Monica in 1926 by J. Walter Todd. According to the University of California, the totem pole was made by the Chilkat Thlinger Native Americans of Sitka, Alaska. It includes a wolf, bear, fish, and raven at the top.
