DESCRIPTION:  18-foot by 95-foot oil paint mural, containing a history statement of the Coachella Valley's early 20th century development

This history mural for the Coachella Valley and Indio areas depicts early 20th century agricultural efforts made available from an accidental flow of Colorado River water into the formerly dry lake bed now known as the Salton Sea.
