DESCRIPTION: 102-inch high by 186-inch wide wall-mounted glass mosaic with photograph images
The mosaic depicts an historic sailing ship and incorporates digital-imprinted photograph images of contemporary passengers at the ship railing (indicated by "photo courtesy of Cliff Wassmann").
Selecka's mosaic is one of four installed at the Doheny Beach Pedestrian Bridge completed in May 2009. The mosaic is partnered with Selecka's 2009 Dana Point in 1933 mosaic. Across Pacific Coast Highway are the two other mosaics, Surfers at Sunset (2009) and Breaching Gray Whale (2009), by Lance Jost.
