DESCRIPTION:  13-foot high by 42-foot wide acrylic paint mural depicting a historic view of the Balboa Pavilion 

Mortimer's heritage mural for Newport Beach depicts the 1906 Balboa Pavilion and streetscape from historic photographs.  The Pavilion's completion coincided with the new extension of the Pacific Electric Railway Red Car to Balboa (shown at far right), thereby accelerating development of the Balboa Peninsula.
Completed in December 2013, the mural was sponsored by the Community Foundation of Balboa Peninsula Point.
