DESCRIPTION: station art installation of an array of 56 2-foot by 2-foot "tilography" portraits, consisting of 6-inch glazed ceramic tiles, accompanied by "Power Statements."
Stephen Farley developed an outreach program with the City of Pomona to produced stylized portraits and "Power Statements" of Pomona residents, 56 of which would be used for the Pomona North Metro A Line (Gold Line) station. Farley applied his tilography process to create unique stylized portraits accompanied by "Power Statements" from individuals expressing how specific people made a positive difference in their lives.
