This memorial sculpture dedicated in 1988 pays tribute to tuna fishermen and the tuna industry of the San Diego area. It is backed by a polished black granite memorial wall etched with the names of Tunaman's Memorial founders, tuna industry pioneers, and the tuna fishermen lost at sea.
