DESCRIPTION:   15-foot high by 6-foot wide by 1-foot deep steel and bronze sculpture

This wave-and-sun-inspired De Matteis sculpture is installed very close to another unidentified abstract steel sculpture (see lower image).
The following statement from De Matteis is mounted at the base of the sculpture:OCEAN SONG The sculpture is inspired by waves, breaking on the shores of the bay.  It Reflects the play of sunlight throughoutthe day on the surface of the ocean.It recalls the connection of the moon and the tides.So as waves on the ocean it also portrays waves of sound.The mass of the sculpture transforms itself from baritone to sopranoCreating a song that tells the story of the place where we have found shelter.ALBER DE MATTEIS, SCULPTOR
