DESCRIPTION: 7-foot high by 35-foot wide acrylic paint mural
This color mural by the husband and wife duo DabsMyla (Darren and Emmelene Mate), working anonymously under their combined professional name, is at the Alta Laguna Park backstop and was dedicated at a ceremony on September 7, 2023. According to the City of Laguna Beach, the mural was funded by the lodging establishment of Laguna Beach.
The mural is adjacent to Interlude (1993) by Peter Busby, a 5-piece steel scupture of a pod of diving whales [see below].
