DESCRIPTION: 30-inch diameter cast bronze bas relief memorial medallion, mounted on a 10-foot pole, with history plaque and quotation etched in pavement


This memorial medallion contains the title "Pioneers of Monrovia" and the inscription "honoring Asian Pacific Americans." The associated history plaque is titled "Japanese Community Leaders" and the City of Monrovia also refers to this installation as "Japanese Monrovians."
This is the fourth installation (June 8, 2019) of the City of Monrovia's Neighborhood Treasures program.
