According to Kelman, this kinetic sailboat sculpture serves as a metaphor for the journey of life and the wish to inspire people toward the "American Dream," urged on by a magical boat that can catch a "Puff of Wind" toward one's destiny.
The sculpture was temporarily at the Manhattan Beach Civic Center before its permanent acquisition and installation by the City of Long Beach on January 29, 2021, where its present permanent location is on the sand at Junipero Beach, directly south of the Long Beach Museum of Art.
