DESCRIPTION: 12 vertical wall-mounted LED light sticks emitting light, sound, color patterns and historical images, and incorporating a speaker-activated audio program
Artist Bill Bell's LED light stick sculptures have been installed around the world. For "A-Train," he included a separate speaker box on the opposite wall programmed with the sculpture, which responds to verbal prompts such as "Hey Bill, Old Buddy," and/or the name of a musical artist, such as "Judy Garland," "Duke Ellington," or "The Beatles."
Artist's Statement: “Some will get it, some won’t. Don’t worry, it’s supposed to be fun.”
