DESCRIPTION: 16-story acrylic mega mural, approx. 80-foot high by 56-foot wide
Shepard Fairey's mega mural depicts the Santa Monica themes and history that he most enjoys. Although the mural includes the hotel name and "Welcome," the overwhelmingly dominant artistic quality of Fairey's signature style qualifies this mural as a stand-alone public artwork rather than merely artistic hotel signage. It was completed January 25, 2023.
