DESCRIPTION: 17-foot by 37-foot acrylic-on-masonry mural
Rip Cronk made various revisions to this mural throughout the years. At age 76. he replaced all of the 1990 mural with an entirely new work, completed on May 10, 2023 and keeping the original title. The attribution 'Homage to a Starry Knight' is included at the far right of the mural (see below), and this 2023 YouTube video provides a brief interview with Cronk as he works on the revision.
N.B.: The Library of Congress record of the 1990 Rip Cronk mural, however, mis-states Cronk's intentionally humorous title as 'Homage to a Starry Night.'
