DESCRIPTION: 8 pole-mounted hand-painted ceramic tile murals
Ricardo Duffy composed these eight ceramic murals as mosaics of everyday life in the culturally diverse Florence area. His imagery includes signage, storefronts, and people along Florence Avenue.
Artist's statement: “These images represent upbeat or whimsical snapshots of life in this area. Included are some of the more colorful and humorous storefront iconography…the brightly colored glazed artwork embodies the area’s present day lively atmosphere.”
