DESCRIPTION: 14-foot marble and black granite sculpture

This abstract marble and granite sculpture is Caricof's public art component of the Cerritos Air Disaster Memorial, honoring the 82 victims of the August 31, 1986 mid-air collision of a Piper Cherokee with an Aeromexico McDonnell-Douglas DC-9.   The sculpture was installed in March, 2006.
