John F. Kennedy Memorial (1964)

DESCRIPTION:   40-inch high by 32-inch by 16-inch cast bronze bust of John F. Kennedy, mounted on a 49-inch high by 33-inch by 25-inch granite-faced plinth on a stepped concrete base

This memorial includes two bronze dedication plaques mounted on the faces of the plinth, registering the dedication on November 22, 1964.  The postcard image below shows a dedication ceremony date of December 6, 1964, at 1:00 p.m.
Embedded in the concrete base on the north side of the plinth is the bronze plaque indicating the location of the City of Fontana's time capsule dedicated on October 6, 1998.
