DESCRIPTION: 89-inch high by 58-inch wide wall-mounted ceramic and glass mosaic
Selecka's mosaic is one of four installed at the Doheny Beach Pedestrian Bridge that was completed in May 2009. The mosaic depicts a 1933 family photograph at Dana Beach taken by the father of Gene Burrus in 1933 (Orange County Register), and is partnered with Selecka's Tall Ship mosaic (2009). Across Pacific Coast Highway are the two other mosaics, Surfers at Sunset (2009) and Breaching Gray Whale (2009), by Lance Jost.
