DESCRIPTION: 8-foot high cast bronze statue of Dr. José P. Rizal, mounted on a 90-inch high by 52-inch by 52-inch granite-faced plinth, surrounded by a 17-foot by 18-foot paved platform with corner columns
This statue was a gift from the Filipino American Communty of Southern California and the Republic of the Philippines to the City of Carson, as part of the José P. Rizal Monument Movement. It marks the first installation for the Carson International Sculpture Garden. The monument was dedicated on September 29, 2012.
