This tandem statue of Barrie and Steve Boehne, unveiled October 25, 2023, depicts world champions and famous acrobatic couple Barrie and Steve Boehne in one of their signature tandem surfing and skateboarding poses (see below). Barrie and Steve Boehne established Infinity Surfboards Inc. in 1971 specializing in innovative skateboard design.
Limebrook's tandem statue reflects Dana Point's historic surfing and sailing culture, in company with nine other statues of famous surfing and watersport athletes, filmmakers, artists, and entrepreneurs. Below is a list of the Watermen's Plaza public artworks.
