DESCRIPTION: ceramic tile and glass mosaic artwork on the Doheny Beach Pedestrian Bridge:
Local artist Lance Jost provided extensive mosaics for the Doheny Beach Pedestrian Bridge, constructed in 2009 in the Spanish Colonial style. Four additional public art mosaics (two by Lance Jost and two by Lubika Selecka) are on the south bridge tower and north bridge tower at street level, close to pedestrian and vehicle traffic.
Lance Jost later partnered with Bill Limebrook in 2018 for the Hobie Alter Memorial's Hobie Riding the Wave of Success at Watermen's Plaza across the street.
