DESCRIPTION: two approx. 8-foot high by 8-foot wide replica citrus label murals on an approx. 80-foot high stealth cell tower
This pair of murals replicating historic citrus labels from the San Dimas area are installed on the east-facing and west-facing sides of a non-operational historic water tower converted to a stealth cell tower. Verizon Co. has used a such a stealth cell tower approach in Pomona, newly constructing a cell tower with a false water tower structure that is faced with a mural (seeVerizon Water Tower Murals (2016) by Art Mortimer) and Pomona Water Tower (2012) by Elizabeth Sullivan.
