Cell Tower Designs and Murals
Two cell tower designs by Verizon Wireless, the 4-sided "landmark tower" design and a circular "water tower" design, incorporate public art with the inclusion of graphics or murals illustrating local culture and history. For comparison, a third cell tower design without public art is shown with a "weathervane" style. These designs reflect a notable divergence from the earliest "stealth" cell tower designs that camouflaged towers with large and arguably generic tree designs.
