DESCRIPTION: approx. 80-foot by 83-foot site containing:
Kirkland's installation incorporates sculpture, etchings, hardscape and landscape design within a 6,600-square foot "pocket park" adjacent to the Orange Paseo to the north. In collaboration with Meléndrez Landscape Architects, the site design's focal point is a 100-year old Chinese Elm that is original to the site.
- four 64-inch high by 3-foot diameter polished granite sculptures, mounted on circular 19-inch high by 80-inch diameter polished granite seating
- 23-foot diameter polished granite seating with etched and tinted images, around the perimeter of a large heritage Chinese Elm tree
- hardscape design of pathways with etched and tinted pavement images
