DESCRIPTION: approx. 10-foot high by 40-foot wide building-mounted ceramic and glass mosaic with gold leaf


This large mosaic depicts the City of Redlands' early pioneers and citrus growing heritage in what Sheets referred to as vignettes.
Title unknown: This mosaic work was part of Millard Sheets' long series of commissioned mosaics for Home Savings building façades in Southern California, and there appears to be no data on its intended title. Although many Sheets bank building mosaics were given names/titles that may have been known when they were unveiled, the specific titles were not always recorded.
