DESCRIPTION: 20-foot wide by 225-foot long acrylic mural
Glenna Boltuch Avila's mural was part of the set of freeway murals commissioned for the 1984 Olympics. It was restored in 2012. 2024 : Avila's long-standing and iconic mural was significantly damaged by graffiti/tagging that obliterated the faces of the depicted children. It is unclear whether restoration is planned.
