• sculptural granite rock sediment wall with obsidian (representing the area's oil deposits) and blue glass (representing spring water)

• 12.5-foot high polished black granite-faced support column, etched with dedication information

• cast bronze "timeline" bas-relief sculpture (2000) depicting a collage of historic images and figures, including native Americans, ranchers, and oil workers

• orange sphere sculpture mounted at the top of the shale rock sediment wall, representing the area's citrus industry

• 5-foot diameter bronze relief pavement medallion covering the City's time capsule buried below and commemorating the City's past fifty years 

The Founders Monument, erected in the Founders Plaza, serves as the gateway to the Heritage Springs Sculpture Garden and graphically illustrates the history and geology of Santa Fe Springs.  The cast bronze pavement medallion covering the City's time capsule includes the image of the City Seal.
