Schoonhoven collaborated with California State University, Los Angeles students over a two-year period to produce the mural, part the of MTA's Art for Rail Transit program. The following artists provided assistance: Ren Woodlin, Joseph Zamora, Dante Woodlin, Alex Zendejas and Rosann Rodriguez.
