De Magalhães' art panels depict a wide variety of historical and cultural scenes of the agricultural era, of urban scenes of people and places, and of clothing fabric patterns and local maps. These scenes are then combined as mosaics within an image of a flowing sash.
Artist's Statement: “By including images of the diverse existing community as well as a large veteran population, the pieces will offer a sense of warmth, youthfulness, innovative energy and historical record.”
