Vasquez completed his mural May 1, 1979. In October, 2013, the mural was restored by Higgy Vasquez, sponsored by Chapman University which owns the building on which it is painted and lists the mural as part of the Chapman University Art Collections. The mural is also known as the Vasquez Mural.
