This portrait mural is in memory of artist Karl Benjamin (1925-2012), one of the four "Abstract Classicists" Exhibition of 1959-60. Flores began the mural before Benjamin's death on July 26, 2012 as a tribute to the artist, and completed it shortly thereafter.
