DESCRIPTION:  station art consisting of double-sided blue-toned photographic portraits on porcelain enamel steel panels, suspended 15 feet above the transit station stairwell

For this station art project, Gleaton created large engaging portraits of the area's residents, suspended within the platform stairwell, to create a striking visual effect for both transit riders and the adjacent freeway traffic.
Tony Gleaton was known for his photographic images of African American rodeo riders and Native American ranch hands in the American West and across Latin America.  He died in 2015.
