5 1/2-foot by 16 1/2-foot oil-on-fabric mural
NOTE:  The mid-19th century attire, native Americans, and building materials and equipment shown in this mural 
suggests that this mural was intended to depict construction of the original adobe in 1850-1855, instead of its restoration 
and rebuilding in 1939
.
