Petropoulos' multiple-component station art installation was originally untitled. According to MetroArt's description, the artist "explores the notion of a location’s identifying landmarks. Her 36-foot by 36-foot ceiling mural, The Seven Centers (1993), is located at the first floor lobby of the Los Angeles Central Library.
