Public Art in Public Places is an international leader in promoting knowledge and enjoyment of public art through extensive cultural asset mapping. We believe that greater exposure to artistic, cultural, and historic treasures, as well as to new and emerging public art forms, enriches public life and civic engagement throughout the world.
Established in 2006 in partnership with Google Cultural Institute, Public Art in Public Places is a non-commercial and not-for-profit public art data organization curating and publishing a free and accessible on-line archive of official public art information.
Public Art in Public Places is proud of its partnerships with Google Cultural Institute and Google Maps that combine to support our broad dissemination of public art visual, technical, historical, and geographic data.
