This pool-side mosaic reflects Tsanetopoulos' interest in pattern effects and cultural heritage, also notable in his 1994 Breezy and Delightful station art for the Metro A Line (Blue) 1st Street Station in Long Beach, California.
Tsanetopoulos later teamed with Tokio Tanaka Architects in 2000 on the iconic LAX Gateway Pylons project, the kinetic sculptural and lighting installation at the entrance to Los Angeles International Airport.
