"You Are Not Forgotten" (1992) by Peter Stewart 
 
DESCRIPTION:  approx. 15-foot by 100-foot memorial mural honoring prisoners of war and those missing in action in the Southeast Asia region and Vietnam.

COMMENT:  This 1992 memorial mural was the independent effort of Peter Stewart and includes the names of 2,273 missing service personnel.  Its 14-year presence on a Venice Beach street corner was undisturbed until graffiti vandalism in May 2016 damaged much of the lower half of the mural.
