DESCRIPTION: 96-inch high by 96-inch diameter cast bronze sculpture of two oil field workers ("roughnecks") with historic iron oil well pipe and equipment
Jackson gives her lifesize oil field "roughnecks" individual identities with their name tags - "Bruce" and "Jerry" - paying tribute to Signal Hill oil industry developers and community members Bruce Kerr and Jerrel C. Barto.
The ensemble bronze sculpture was dedicated September 30, 2006, and stands between the Sun Catcher installation and the Skyline Drive entrance to the Skyline Trail. Jackson publishes "in progress" images of the installation at cjacksonsculpture.com.
