DESCRIPTION:  four Craftsman-style masonry gates of granite field stone and brick, with 2-foot by 2-foot Batchelder tile insets

COMMENT: This sculptural gate in the Craftsman style is both public art and historical landmark.  The use of Batchelder tile insets in the gate detail reflects their great popularity in Craftsman-era designs.
